Private In-home Instruction

This program consists of 4 private lessons in your home.  This is the most conducive location for you and your dog to learn how to communicate effectively.  Lessons are spaced out approximately once a week.  Everything you need to learn to control your dog will be taught over the course of 3-4 weeks.

What We Cover

Loose leash walking: “COME”
Off leash recall: “COME”
Boundary-related command: “OFF”
  • Jumping up on people
  • Getting on furniture without invitation
  • Counter surfing
  • Nipping/Playful Biting
  • Chewing/Digging
  • Any type of issue you may say no, stop it or cut it out
  • Any behavioral type issue

Noise-related command: “QUIET”
  • Nuisance Barking
  • Whining
  • Growling

Wait at the door / door dashing: “WAIT”
Go to a definable object and stay: “PLACE”
Down with built-in stay: “DOWN”
Sit with built-in stay: “SIT”
Release type of command: “OK”

Once you learn to how reinforce these commands there shouldn’t be any situation that comes up that you won’t have an answer for. You will also be supported throughout the entire process and even after we are done with the private lessons.  We know that you will have a clear understanding of how to maintain the training for your dog but we are always here to help if anything comes up that you clarity or advice on.  We don’t charge extra or make you set up additional sessions to answer follow-up questions.
